The details of Lady Loki costume by BBQfish The details of Lady Loki costume by BBQfish
There were several people asked me about the details of Lady Loki’s costume.

As the promise, here it is. :)

In my personal POV, the original Lady Loki’s costume in comics carries a sense of wild and untamed beauty, especilly the heavy fur and the snake-like pattern. However, in this version of Lady Loki, I want her to have a different temperament. I like to give her a sense of royal family, a personality that would never be hesitate to rule, and people will kneel in front of her and call her “my Queen”. Um, but she won’t go to Germany and yell people to kneel to her without reasons…. XD (This part in Avengers made me speechless…)

Anyway, hope this drawing will be helpful for ladies who want to do a cosplay of Lady Loki. Feel free to change the detail patterns if you like, but please do keep the basic design, because this is what to keep the body curve looks soft and sexy.

Goes to faves and I will most definitely use this - since me and a friend of mine did already the official costumes of Loki (him - Avengers movie ver.)vand Lady Loki (me - the comic book ver. with minor alterations) aaand we wanted to go for a more formal look (for him is easy enough - the suit from the opera in Stutgart but I was sorta looking for something appropriate aaand I think I found it ^^ I might make some veeery little changes but they will be minor - and if you're curious there's a sample pic of us - [link])

Thankies ;) we really did our best. Plus it was really fun, though in futher future I may do a couple of touches to the costume ^^

The only change I will make to your design is adding straps to the gown (alas, my breasts are too big for a strapless dress) and nothing more. I might use the fur cloak from the comicbook costume though it's quite likely I may find something more appropriate for the purpose :)

I can't say for certain, but I think the main purpose of Loki "showing off" in Germany was just to play distraction. He had to go there anyway to get the "eye" for Hawk-eye, but he wanted to make a scene so the Avengers would focus on him and stop looking for his base of operations (or at least buy them more time). I mean he definitely knew about the Avengers, he had been watching from the shadows... er glass... reflective surfaces? So he already had plans on what he needed to do. That's just my take of course.

Otherwise really elegant design! I really like the gold intricacies too :)

Oh yes, I forgot he was meant to be captured in that part. Everything was in his plan. Thanks for the reminder. But still, it was a facepalm when I first time saw him chased weak mortals around with an over-enjoy expression.XD I was like "aw, Loki, that's cute, but what are you doing!?"
